She has been listed in Best Lawyers in America in the field of family law for 2013, 2014 and 2015. For six years, she has been designated in the Law & Politics/Boston Magazine's listing of "Rising Stars" in the field of family law. In 2013, she was designated as one of the "Top Women Attorneys-Massachusetts' Outstanding Young Lawyers" by Boston Magazine. She has been awarded Lexis/Nexis Martindale Hubbell's BV Distinguished Rating in recognition of outstanding legal ability and ethical standards. She has been appointed as a Discovery Master, Guardian Ad Litem and Attorney for Children by Justices of the Probate Court in domestic relations matters. She has also been appointed as Guardian Ad Litem in the Superior Court of Massachusetts. Attorney Shapiro engages in pro bono work under the Middlesex Probate & Family Court Attorney Representing Children Program. She is a member of the Boston Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association, and the Greater Boston Family Law American Inn of Court.
