About

Attorney Alissa Brill devotes her practice to all aspects of family law including divorce, paternity, child custody, alimony, modification and contempt matters. In addition, she represents people in guardianship matters and with restraining and harassment prevention orders. Attorney Brill chooses to practice in these areas because they “have such an effect on a person; they are impacting one of the most important things in a person’s life, their family,” she says. With that in mind, her goal as an attorney is to help ease the burden of someone going through a crisis that has such an impact on their well-being, by providing efficient, thorough and compassionate representation.Having come from both a legal services and private practice background, Attorney Brill has worked with clients from all walks of life, and strives to find common ground as a foundation for building a good working relationship. She understands the intricacies of domestic relations and how it can relate to different issues like taxes, immigration, financial security, medical care and businesses. She is known for her diligence, commitment to her work and ability to unpack complex matters. There is no one size fits all in family law, and strategizing creative, viable solutions based on a client’s particular needs and circumstances is important to Attorney Brill’s work. She enjoys navigating the subtle differences amongst the Massachusetts counties’ court systems and judges and keeping herself apprised of new court rules and important rulings in cases that have an impact on her work; this assists in her successful advocacy for her clients.Alissa Brill was born and raised in the suburbs of Boston, and is a graduate of the University of Rochester and Northeastern University School of Law.
