Mr. Hartnett’s practice involves a wide variety of matters, including civil litigation, public sector law, maritime law, construction law, railroad law, and creditors’ rights law. A Norfolk native, Mr. Hartnett received his B.A. degree from the University of Virginia, his M.A. degree from Old Dominion University, and his J.D. degree (cum laude) from the University of Richmond. He began his career by clerking with the Honorable W. Allan Sharrett and the Honorable Sam Campbell of the Sixth Judicial Circuit of Virginia.Representative Experience
