I contacted Dan after receiving an OVI and he accepted it. I gave Dan the details of my charge and he was very experienced and easy to work with throughout the process. We got great results in court and I highly recommend hiring Dan with any OVI cases.
If you need an Outstanding Defense Lawyer - Look no further!! I've dealt with other lawyers and Mr. Williams is the Exception! He is very knowledgeable and able to explain things effectively. He's also compassionate and gives you his undivided attention. In the court room he's articulate and will do an excellent job representing you!
I didn’t even need to step in front of a judge Dan handled the whole thing such a professional
I would highly recommend hiring Mr. Williams. I initially was charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and trespassing. I was told by a public defendant the best case I could hope for is 30 days of house arrest and 6 months probation. I was also told by another lawyer they would not waste my money because he did not feel a better outcome was attainable. Mr. Williams provided me options to improve my case and show that I was remorseful for my actions to the prosecutor. Mr. Williams was successfully able to agree with prosecutors to allow me into the first offenders program, a much smaller penalty.
Mr. Williams was great from start to finish. I emailed him regarding possible representation for my petty theft case and he called me immediately that same day and walked me through what the process would look like. I had talked with other lawyers previously but did not feel comfortable with any and Mr. Williams was able to do just that. I was especially worried about a conviction due to my future career in healthcare and Mr. Williams really focused on that when working with my case and we ended up getting it dismissed entirely which was the biggest relief and an amazing outcome. He was there every step of the way and was there for me if I ever had a question or was unsure about something. I am forever grateful for Mr. Williams’s services and for his help in preventing my terrible mistake/lapse in judgement from hurting my future.
Dan was very professional and personable. After hiring him, it took very little time (within a couple of weeks) for him to negotiate the charges down from a felony to a minor misdemeanor. This was an extremely favorable outcome and I highly recommend anyone who needs a defense attorney to meet with Dan.
Dan Williams did an excellent job for me! He got my OVI/DUI dropped down to a reckless operation and in one court date. He was really helpful and thoroughly explained what was going on. I will recommend him to my family and friends and anyone who needs a great lawyer.
I hired Mr. Williams to help me with false accusation filed against me. He was non-judgemental, professional, and always answered the questioned I had. He never made me feel dumb for not understanding how the judicial system worked. I hope to never need him again but would hire him again if I did!
Daniel was very helpful in explaining everything in my case to me. This was my first offence, and I was not from the area, so that was very helpful and reassuring for me. As a first-time OVI, there are a few options that one can take to before the Court. Daniel recommended that I take a proactive approach and complete the Alcohol assessment and classes that the Court would almost certainly order me to ahead of time. As well as writing a letter of apology from myself to both the Court and the Police Department. Both of these actions, along with Daniel speaking with the Prosecutor on my behalf before the hearing were enough combined for the Judge to give me a relatively light sentence. I am very thankful for his representation, without which I believe that I would have spent several nights in Lake County Jail instead.
Mr. Williams provided very informative consultation prior to court. He turned a bad situation into a very manageable one. Felony charge reduced to misdemeanor with diversion program and sealing of records in very short period of time. I would recommend him for any and all consultative needs.
