I found Daniel Shanfield through his legal website. After the first meeting, he displayed tremendous knowledge pertaining to immigration law which led to my decision to have Mr Shanfield represent me in my immigration case in front of the Judge. My case was not the easiest and requires a plethora of document preparation, interviews, and constant communication between me and the law firm. Alongside Mr Shanfield was Revital Shavit, who has extensive knowledge on immigration law. Additionally she answered all my questions pertaining to the case, and was diligent in submitting all paperwork on time. Because of their hard work and insights, we were able to win my case and I am now able to stay in the USA with my family and call it my home. I am extremely happy with Mr Shanfield’s law firm and I would recommend them to anyone looking for immigration help. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Daniel Shanfield and Revital Shavit.
Daniel and his team did an outstanding job with my rather complicated immigration case. Thanks to their diligent work my application was approved without any further complications.
After five years of trying to adjust my husband's immigration status, and discouraged after paying thousands of dollars in legal fees, only to be told our case had no easy solution, we found Mr. Shanfield through referral, and he offered great service, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful, and gave us back the hope we had lost. Thanks to his excellent services, my husband was able to become a permanent resident in a period of four months, something that we never expected. I highly recommend Mr. Shanfield as a true expert in immigration matters. Well this was our first review 8 years ago, and now 8 years later, finally my husband complete the journey, my husband got his citizenship 2 months ago, Thanks to Mr. Shanfield our life changed, we will be in debt the rest of our life, Thanks Daniel
I hired the Law Offices Of Daniel Shanfield for my Naturalization Filing. From start to finish Daniel and his staff including his manager Diana were so courteous and professional that i never had to worry about any aspects of my case. They kept me informed, took personal care of my case and the fee was perfectly in line with the enormous experience this firm has. I even believe that they could have charged me more but i got a great deal. Long story short today i got an approval on my Naturalization Interview today and Daniel was right by my side through the entire process. Thank you Daniel !!!
Not really sure where to exactly start, but let me try with the fact that this firm is absolutely outstanding!!! As an immigrant and after living in the US for over 30+ years I was faced with deportation. With 3 kids and a wife as US citizens my situation was horrifying. Prior to meeting Mr Shanfield and his team I did a significant amount of research on immigration law firms and they came up really strong. I will admit that naturally I am apprehensive of any law firm as there are many horror stories out there that lead you into paying thousands of dollars in the end delivering much less of the outcome they promise you. Daniel never once promised me any results, however did walk me play by play through each step and the various options we had. In the end would give me his advise, but ultimately left it up to me to make the final decision. All tough that approach may not be as comforting to some people, for me personally it was exactly what I needed/wanted. His advise was based on his experience on previous cases, which was all of the comfort I needed. I also appreciated that I wasn't being promised any type of outcome other than "I am confident if we went with x approach that we would be in a good position". He personally assisted me at each DHS visit and I was not ponded off to a junior attorney, which is what I have seen done at other firms. All in all, Daniel and his team are absolutely THE best and most efficient in the industry! The outcome of their professionalism and expertise resulted in my deportation case being dismissed. Now that is behind me, they are going to assist me in getting US citizenship! My family and I are extremely grateful to Daniel Shanfield and his team Diana Morales Avin, Janette Bustillos, Gabriela Perez-Frias, Merle Kahn and Esmerelda Bustos!!!
After posting my review, Daniel and I got together and worked out our disagreement. He was very fair, and I want to thank him and The Law Offices of Daniel Shanfield Immigration Defense, PC, for the work they put into my case.
This review alone cannot express the gratitude I have for the Law Offices of Daniel Shanfield. My case was assigned to one of his lawyer associate named Atty. Paris Scott. I have been a green card holder for 33 years and waited so long to even think about applying for citizenship. Until mistakes caught up with me and I lost hope in getting my US Citizenship. Atty. Paris Scott held my hand and hopes with no limitations. Through the process I found so much comfort in working with her in getting me through the process. She is a perfectionist, at times I would get scolded by her but it was a scolding so unconditionally coming from her heart because she would not fail me in getting my US Citizenship. Before my naturalization interview, she made sure requirements needed to prove a good moral character under the law would get what I hoped for. ( I just want to add .....Immigration Officers are good people. Just like anyone of us, they do not judge). Atty Paris Scott got me to that Interview Office and I want to thank the Immigration Officer for trusting and believing in me. Atty. Scott was always there for me, even if she was out watching her daughter's game or picking her up from school. Today is June 23, 2016, I am crying with joy. I got an update from UCSIS that my date, place and time of oath taking has been mailed. As I look at my husband of 33 years sitted on a wheelchair , now I could serve him more in his ill health.. I miss your presence Atty. Scott.
When it comes to the fine line where Criminal Law intersectsImmigration Law, Daniel is one of the best out there. It is my great fortune that i Picked Daniel to work with for my Naturalization case with a prior conviction.A few lawyers asked me to sit tight and not apply for Natz, but when i met Daniel , he was confident that i would be Naturalized from the First meeting . His core Education from UCLA and UC Berkeley sets him apart from the rest and he knows the implication of his actions very well.My file was so well structured that the Immigration Officer at the Interview even said "You have a Great Lawyer" to me . His tenacity and dedication to client satisfaction are ferocious, and his ability to de-construct complicated cases are world-class.His team of Diana and others were there to patiently answer several questions that I had through the process and finally, I am a US Citizen. I would recommend Daniel and his firm to anyone who needs Advice in the Immigration world .
I am so happy how my case was handled. The patience they had with me because i would email or call to ask so many questions they answered all of them and they made sure i understand before hanging up. iam so pleased by Esmeralda and Daniel's work. With out them helping me and my husband we would of panic. The office is nice you feel comfortable and safe. they do a great excellent job and preparation. when you go to the interview they prep you well. i would be requesting their service again for sure they are excellent. iam so thankful that i found them thanks Esmeralda and Daniel i couldn't of done it with out you guys thanks and god bless.
I am a US Citizen and married an immigrant who overstayed his tourist visa. We applied for his Adjustment of Status on our own, but that was not immediately approved because he had returned to his home country and then come back to the US. I was surprised to learn that made him "Inadmissible" and we had to submit an I601 application to waive his inadmissible status. As I researched what that meant, I realized it was not just another hoop to jump through and fee to pay. We had to prove it would be an extreme hardship to me, the US citizen, if my husband were to be deported. I was in a panic and realized we needed legal support for this application. We met with 2 lawyers and decided to go with Dan based on his extensive experience with USCIS, on both sides, and his rave reviews here. Rachel was the attorney in his office who handled the details. She was very thorough about identifying justifications for my hardship and identifying others who could write letters of support for our case. She reviewed my essay, a key element of the application, many times and Dan reviewed the final version before submission. Throughout the process Rachel was extremely responsive. It is a long process. We spent 2-3 months preparing the application and then waited 10 long months for the I601 decision. We first met with Dan and Rachel just over a year ago. This past Saturday my husband received his green card in the mail. :) We are ecstatic and relieved that we can stay together here in the US and realize our dreams of traveling abroad together and both be able to come back home. This likely would not have been possible without the assistance we received from Dan and Rachel, and the team at their office. I highly recommend them regardless of the complexity of the case.

With out them helping me and my husband we would of panic.
Scott.
