About
Dan is a Partner in the firm and Vice Chairman of the Land Use Department, and co-manages the firm's Hudson Valley Office.He has over 20 years of experience getting projects approved and built for clients, with a focus on commercial, residential, mixed use, adaptive reuse, telecommunications, energy, zoning and related environmental law. Dan represents a diverse clientele, including real estate developers, corporations, wireless carriers, power producers, schools, non-profit organizations, municipalities and industrial development agencies. He achieves results for clients on a number of levels, including local land use review/approvals, State and Federal permitting and project compliance with the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act, or “SEQRA”. Over the course of his career, Dan has secured permits and approvals for a wide variety of projects, including wireless facilities, professional offices, small to large retail, hotels, banks, restaurants, single family, multi-family, townhomes, condominiums, conventional and cluster subdivisions, laboratories and other scientific/research facilities, manufacturing, warehouses, educational, industrial, institutional, mixed use, traditional neighborhood development (TND”), resort communities, golf courses, energy projects, affordable housing and senior housing. The geographic area of Dan’s practice is expansive. It currently covers the greater Hudson Valley region, including the counties of Dutchess, Putnam, Orange, Ulster, Sullivan, Rockland and Westchester, as well as areas north of Albany. Dan has also practiced throughout the State of Connecticut.
