We originally contacted the firm (for one of the senior lawyers) from a referral from our realtor to handle real estate / trust questions. The case was passed on to Dallas. He is a nice guy, but... It took about over two months just to get the first draft of our trust document to review. We met to add another provision. And then we filed the the deed with the county to transfer the house to the trust. Later on upon careful reviewing, two of the trustees names were not in the trust document at all! In addition, upon dropping off the original documents to get it revised, one of the trustee names were misspelled! I would imagine any part of a legal document is very important. There shouldn’t be any typos or missing names. It took a long time to get something simple done. I know there were tax implications that we had to consider. However, other firms would not have taken so long and required so many revisions due to missing key names and misspelled names.
