I suffered an injury at work and the insurance company denied my claim. I hired Mr. Becker, and at first was unsure as to whether I had done the right thing as I didn't hear from him for a while. He was hard to get an appointment with because he was always in court or his calendar was full and I would have to wait to see him for a couple of weeks. Well, so far he has gotten my case moving. I can go to the doctor now and the insurance company is paying me temporary disability. I almost lost my home. without him I can't imagine what would have happened to me. I am scheduled for a consultation with a surgeon so we will see, but so far he is awesome. I will be able to survive for now thanks to him and his girls in Susanville they are AWESOME!

To see what kind of lawyer he is just go to the Ca. State Bar . Ask around before you hire any lawyer , and when you get a list of lawyers from the Workers Compensation Board double check before taking the very first one . Do your home work , look up reviews on lawyers , ask people you know if they know of a good lawyer . Trustworthy I really could not tell you I just know I didn't . Responsive not at all and does not return calls or e-mails , Knowledgeable that depends on what you ask him . Kept me informed , never kept me informed about my case at the time and his staff takes their time getting back to you , sometimes it could be a month before they get back to you . I have found that if you are doing most of the paper work yourself , then it is time to find a new lawyer . You should not feel like you are fighting the Insurance company and your lawyer . There are things I would like to say in truth but the web site wants you to be nice and believe me there are a lot of things I would love to explain . Just keep it in your head to not sign the very first lawyer you meet with , look around , go to your state web site and read everything you can and learn because there are lawyers out there that are as bad or worse than the insurance company . Good luck and I hope this helped anyone who looks at it .
