Upon a bad recommendation and good sales pitch by her father at her office (where she wasn't even present), I hired and paid retainer fee right away for a child custody issue. ZERO communication until time of appearance. Unprepared to say the LEAST. I was the petitioner and completely lost any confidence after the first court hearing. I didn't even bother going to the second appearance and retracted my petition. Judge called me while at court and I told him on the phone that my representation is completely incompetent and useless. Hired a new lawyer 3 months later at 1/5 the price and won the case and was granted full custody with the other party having supervised visits (as a man, non the less). My new lawyer stated the case was easy, cut and dry... go figure. All I got was completely robbed by this practice. Not one phone call returned after my retainer was cashed and I was left completely embarrassed in the court room.

When she finally did return my call, I was put on hold so many times it got annoying. Not at all professional. When she was on the line with me, she was yelling across the room at staff..sometimes using very colorful language. The only thing I could was say, never mind. I hung up. I shared my experience with some friends who told me she has issues and has been thrown out of courtrooms for being hungover! How is it that this is considered professionalism? I would not recommend her to anyone. Ever. The only reason she got a one star rating was because I had to enter something. If I had my druthers, I’d have rated her -5.

He had legal aid that got him a offer for 2 and a half which we then thought he could do better with a lawyer, that is when we went and talked to the her and she promised to get him a flat two. she said she needed 4000 dollars to get that deal so we decided that it was worth it. We gave her the 4000 and from that point no calls, sometimes he never got transferred to court because she never sent the paper work just nothing on her part. My brother was sentenced on December 17th to 2and a half years and not the flat 2 that was promised. I am NOT upset that he got the time I am upset that she took 4000 dollars and did nothing. She could have been honest and just left him with legal aid to get the time that they had already got him. We don't even want the whole amount we paid her she could keep a 1000 for her little couple hours she put in. so no I would not recommend her and this is not where I will stop. I will let it be known that she will take your money and will not do her job.
