I engaged Cynthia Hatchett and her firm to help me deal with my father’s estate. With her guidance I navigated this daunting process with no issues even though I live in Alaska. The MyCase portal enabled us to share documents easily and was a great communication tool. All my questions were answered quickly and thoroughly. I appreciated her support and encouragement. I highly recommend this firm.
Thanks so much Attorney Cynthia Hatchett for the wonderful job you have done when we needed you dearly. You were like the Calvary coming over the hill when the Indians had us surrounded moving in for the kill. I want to express how thankful I am for you, when things looked so horrible. You are truly heaven sent. I want to comment on the excellent job you have done for me. I want to scream from the roof top what a wonderful person you are along with being a first-class attorney!! May the Lord shower you with His Blessings that only He can give.
Mrs HATCHETT and her firm are full of integrity and love for their clients. They have bent over backwards to help us resolve our case. I could not be any happier and pleased with the way Mrs. HATCHETT conducts her business and her personal contact with her clients. She is not there to just help win your case, which she does with the upmost integrity, but she was their for us as well to help us through what was one of our most difficult times in life. She cared for myself & my family’s wellbeing aside from being hired to do her job and help us settle a legal matter. I would use her and her firm a thousand times over if I ever need a legal matter handled in the future. It’s always nice to know and trust the person you are handing legal and personal information over to especially when it’s someone you don’t know and I can honestly say that I was not disappointed. Thanks again for caring for my family and helping us during this time. You are a blessing.
I hired Mrs. Hatchett to help me with a small estate affidavit. Mrs. Hatchett and her team were very professional, proficient, and informative. Excellent work. Thank you for making the process easy. I highly recommend!
Hatchett Law Firm helped us file a small estate affidavit after our adult son died. Everything was take care of very quickly and efficiently. We appreciated the professionalism of everyone on staff, as well as their friendly service. I would definitely recommend their services to my friends and family.
I worked, mainly, with Cynthia and Amanda. They are spectacular. They made my part as easy as possible. I would recommend the Hatchett law firm to everyone. God bless!!
I contacted the Hatchett Law Firm after searching reviews on AVVO for the BEST probate attorney in the Houston area. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made. My cousin passed away without a will over 3 years ago. Her parents predeceased her, as did her only sibling (one month prior to her death). She had no children, nor did her sibling. Attorney Hatchett guided me every step of the way as a Dependent Administrator for the estate, which is much more involved than if the deceased left a will. She and her case manager, Amanda, have had to generate a great deal of paperwork (138 filings just to the court so far) as the court had to approve everything I did. Those things included traveling to Texas with my cousins to clean out the house and storage unit, (she was a hoarder), selling the house and car, notifying all possible heirs (multiple notifications). She also found a bonding agency and a real estate agent for me. She did everything, including talking me off a ledge several times, with calmness and a can do attitude. If we ventured into a roadblock, she found a way around it. I knew all the relatives on my Aunt's side of the family, but there were unknown heirs from my cousin's father's side of the family, as she had no contact with them after her father's death in 1959. My husband dabbles in Ancestry, but it still took us a year to locate all the heirs on that side of the family and Cynthia was finally able to set up the heirship hearing with my husband as a witness a year and a half after my cousin's passing. My husband, however, got COVID and was put in a medically induced coma two weeks before the hearing. I found a genealogist and Attorney Hatchett and Amanda worked with her so she could be a witness and provide the information the court needed . As I mentioned earlier, my cousin's brother passed away a month before she did. Her case also evolved into a will contest with his estate, Several things caused Cynthia and I to be suspicious of his supposed will and supposed codicil (such as copies rather than originals were filed), but it was a big step for me to pursue a case against his estate. I had never been involved with litigation prior to this.. Again, Cynthia guided me through the whole process with integrity. I know the executor of his estate thought were were trying to just grab the money, but there were many factors that raised our skepticism. Cynthia deals mainly with estates and probate. She knows the Texas statutes backwards and forward; she knew all the statues were not followed so we were able about to reach a satisfactory settlement through an all day mediation session. But Cynthia was there with me the whole way. The windfall we received from my cousins' estate has made such a difference in the lives of several of their heirs and I believe none of this would have been possible without the Hatchett Law Firm. We will soon close out his case, and I hope to close her case within the next six months. I will be happy this chapter in my life will be over, but I will miss Cynthia and Amanda immensely. We have laughed together, prayed together, strategized together. I feel I have made lifelong friends. Although I do not expect to need the Hatchett Law Firm's services again, as I live in Pennsylvania, I have recommended them to a couple of other people in Texas.
Finding the Hatchett Law Firm was a stroke of divine intervention. I contacted two other law firms to inquire about probating my late husband’s will. Both phone consultations left me dissatisfied. I had not heard of the Hatchett Law Firm, but when their contact information displayed on my internet browser screen, I reviewed their website and decided to call. My initial contact was with Amanda who was patient, compassionate and knowledgeable. She answered my questions thoroughly and then explained the engagement process. After conversing with Amanda, I felt comfortable retaining this firm. That positive impression carried through each interaction with the staff. Everyone knew his/her role and performed it exceedingly well. Bethany and the support team kept me abreast of the status of my case and Attorney Hatchett was available to answer my legal questions in a timely manner. I especially liked the convenience of using the MyCase portal to remotely share documents and messages. Losing a spouse is a traumatic experience and Attorney Hatchett and her team handled me with care. They managed my case in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner. In fact, the entire probate process took less time (and less stress, thanks to them) than I imagined. I highly recommend the Hatchett Law Firm and plan to contact them again when I am ready to update my estate plan.
I contacted the Hatchett Law firm to handle a Probate issue for me. It was a issue that came up suddenly and unexpectantly. I hadn't heard of this law firm, but they came highly recommended. I contacted Atty Cynthia Hatchett gave her an overview of my situation. She immediately offered professional suggestions from a consutation stand point without trying to rob me financially. I signed up and engaged to do business with the Hatchett Law firm and they did everything they told me they would do. They walk me through the steps and process of what to expect. I must say this was a smooth process with Atty Cynthia Hatchett. She kept me informed and updated with each step of my case. She was very transparent with me about everything. As I previously stated I originally hadn't heard of the Hatchett Law Firm but since doing buisness with them I must say they EXCEEDED my expectations. Atty Cynthia Hatchett and her staff were always courteous, prompt and must of all professional. I would highly recommend this law firm to anyone.

Hiring the Hatchett Law firm was the best move I ever made. They made the process very easy. They was very timely and experience.I would recommend all my friends and family to use them.
Hiring the Hatchett Law firm was the best move I ever made. They made the process very easy. They was very timely and experience.I would recommend all my friends and family to use them.
Hiring the Hatchett Law firm was the best move I ever made. They made the process very easy. They was very timely and experience.I would recommend all my friends and family to use them.

Hiring the Hatchett Law firm was the best move I ever made. They made the process very easy. They was very timely and experience.I would recommend all my friends and family to use them.
