About
While I was in law school, I had the opportunity to hire some young adults with developmental disabilities in the restaurant that I co-owned. The experience changed my life and started me on a 20+ year career advocating for the rights of persons with disabilities, especially in employment. I think this experience helps me understand what my clients are going through when they are trying to plan for the future of their family member with a disability.

We hired Cindy Gardner of the Special Needs Law Center to do our Wills and Special Needs Trust for our daughter. We were very impressed with the way she explained everything so thoroughly and answered all of our questions. She is VERY knowledgable and took special care to make sure we understood all aspects of our future plans for our child. She even came to our house to go over the Wils with us at no extra charge and their fees were extremely reasonable. I would highly recommend this firm if you have a child with special needs.
Cynthia was hired to handle a conservatorship and special needs trust for our disabled son and also to construct our wills. She was very helpful and knew all about laws regarding our special needs. She made sure we understood all the options and made herself available to us when we had questions and concerns. She is very trustworthy, is dedicated to serving all her client's needs and is especially knowledgeable of those with special needs. Cindy quickly became a friend to our family and we are grateful for that.
She seems very good until you need her afterwards. Even named her as successor conservator on special needs trust fund. Three years later neither she nor office will return my calls or give me an explanation as to why she won't call me back. Very unprofessional in my opinion and will cost me many $$ to get her name removed.
