About
My passion for the law began before I graduated high school. I was raised outside of Dallas, Texas and spent my senior year working for the Collin County District Attorney in a mentorship program. I worked hard to establish a Teen Court in my home town and was honored to receive recognition through my school, local media and local government. I attended Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa where I received a full academic scholarship. I was also the recipient of the Joe Martin Scholarship from Bank of America. In undergrad, I majored in Political Science and minored in Theater and Spanish. I traveled abroad 3 of my 4 years in college including a semester long stay in Sevilla, Spain. As a senior at Coe College, I was on the Judicial Board and was the Chair of a Department in my College Students Activities Committee. During my spare time I judge moot court competitions. I am a current or past member of the California DUI Lawyers Association, CPDA, California Women's Lawyer, National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and California Association of Criminal Justice. I am a past Treasurer of the Newport Harbor Bar Association. I have the proud distinction of passing the California State Bar Exam on the first try.

Crystal is very patient, informative, and responsive. The entire Wallin group handled my case very professionally. Crystal managed to reduce my very unfavorable DUI case to a wet reckless charge. I would highly recommend Crystal and the entire Wallin group for anyone with DUI trouble(s).
