I was one class away from earning my degree from a college I had been attending for almost 8 yrs. I had a problem with a teacher from the get-go of the nursing program. I went to the dean of the school and the director of the nursing program for help a few times. Nobody helped me and when this teacher, I was having major issues with, tried to kick me out, I started calling lawyers. I was referred to Courtenay from another attorney. I have to say that Courtenay is an absolute Earth Angel. I can't even begin to explain everything she did for me while I was falling apart and fearing my career I had worked so hard for wasn't going to happen. I graduated because of Courtenay. I will NEVER forget her kindness.
Courtenay helped my family's restaurant when a wrongful suit was filed against us. She was quick to respond, very thorough in explaining the process and our options, gave us recommendations, and updated us regularly. We ended up getting the suit dismissed thanks to Courtenay.
Courtenay is wonderful! She is very prompt in response time, and she really goes the extra step to make sure all your questions and concerns are addressed. I highly recommend Courtenay!
We called Courtenay to help with an employment issue. I was very impressed with her sense of empathy. She was able to promptly provide us with great advice and other attorneys who could help us with our matter.
Courtenay was absolutely instrumental in helping me understand and deal with a former employer interfering with my right to work. During the process, she always took the time to make sure I was educated on what was going on. I felt very much part of a team and that was very comforting and encouraging. I would recommend Courtenay to anyone. My experience was beyond perfect.
I was involved in a wrongful termination case against my employer, and after 8 months of going back and forth ( drafting letters, going to courts etc. ) she declined to continue because she was appointed to be a judge. This is after I had spent about a thousand dollars for her services. She then tried to pass me off to one of her friends ( a very competent attorney she said ). That was in 2019. It is now 2021, and she is still practicing her craft in Longmont with no judging assignment in her profile.
