California Driver caught for Aggressive Driving, Mr Conway handled the case and was able to get the citation reduced significantly. Good communication and follow through. Would highly recommend his services.
Police searched my hotel room, and they found schedule I drugs and paraphernelia. They charged me with three felonies, including intent to distribute. I hired Cotter Conway right away. He retrieved the police report, noted that there were various fishy/exaggerated statements in the police report, talked to the DA, and the morning of my pre-trial hearing, I was able to plead guilty to one misdemeanor with time served (the few hours I was awaiting bail) and no fine. I consider this to be an excellent outcome.
Cotter was familiar with the Fernley Municipal Court and quickly understood my case and corresponded with me quickly and consistently. Mr. Conway resolved a $1000 + traffic ticket for $115 and got the citation reduced from an unreasonable "aggressive driving" charge to a reasonable 11 mph over limit speeding violation that was more accurate to the circumstances. Because I am from out of state, I really appreciated his local knowledge and professionalism.
I got arrested for DUI in Sparks and I talked to 5 attorneys on the phone and met with 2 attorneys face to face. Although Cotter was more expensive than the other attorney there wasn't any doubt that I wanted to go with him...having said that I though that Cotter's price was very fair. Cotter is an expert attorney and takes his job very seriously. That was one reason why I went him but the other reasons were because I could tell that he cared about doing a thorough job and he had a really strong knowledge of the law. After reviewing my case Cotter brought me into his office and we went through everything...he explained the law to me and what I as headed for....I was nice to see that he knew the law front and back. At the end of the day he got my case dismissed. I couldn't be happier. No matter what your case is like...call his man, he's a good guy and a good attorney. He knows what he's doing and has been working these kind of cases for years. He's a real pro and I don't think that you can get a better value with anyone else.
My 3 year old left my home two days in a row during a move. I was arrested and charged with child endangerment at first. Then it was changed to felony child abuse/neglect. He worked out a deal with the DA to have it completely dismissed. I think that's what makes him such a great attorney, his willingness to jump through hoops with the DA to come to agreements of lesser charges. My case was extremely difficult because I had CPS involved for 6 months and they refused to give good reports to the DA even though I was doing everything I was supposed to. But Cotter never gave up. And 6 months after I retained him, it was dismissed.
Cotter was available to review my case and assist with representing me out of my home state. The client-lawyer relationship is built on trust and magnified when you are filing a plea in absentia. He kept me updated after every court hearing and was able minimize the charges against me.
