I was a critical care nurse before embarking on a career change to law.  In my years of legal practice, I have successfully defended healthcare providers in the very complex medical malpractice cases and tried many of them to defense verdicts, including cases involving radiology, neurology, neurosurgery, cancers, obstetrics and gynecology, cardiology, cardiothoracic emergency medicine, nursing, critical care, chiropractic, pulmonology, orthopedics, psychiatry, and all areas of medical and nursing care. Additionally, I have successuflly represented healthcare providers before state licensing boards and hospital peer review investigations.Further, I asisst health care providers to be compliant with state and federal privacy laws and regulations such and developing policies and procedures as required by state and federal regulations.
