Cora is a skilled, experienced lawyer who cares for her clients. She represented me twice, first when I was applying for my US permanent residence (green card), and most recently when I applied for US citizenship. I applied for US permanent residence many years ago, and though the university that sponsored my green card application expected me to use one of their own lawyers, I decided to hire a lawyer of my own so I could be in control of the process. I was so lucky to find Cora! She did a part of my application pro bono, and, most importantly, she was familiar with the green card application process for university professors. Many lawyers I had contacted, prior to meeting Cora, had no experience of obtaining green cards for university professors or had no familiarity with the so called “special handling” for academics. Cora paid attention to the smallest details; she in fact checks up on everything. No matter how busy, she would find time to get back to me if I had questions. Naturally, when it was time for me to apply for my US citizenship, I again sought Cora and entrusted her with my US citizenship application. I highly recommend Cora! Today I am a proud US passport holder, and I am so grateful to Cora for being my lawyer and part of my journey to US citizenship.
