Mr. Reynolds is the founder of the firm and concentrates his area of practice in criminal law, in both federal and state courts. He is an experienced trial attorney who has handled thousands of cases in both state and federal courts. He has a reputation as an aggressive and persuasive advocate for his clients. Mr. Reynolds is a Certified Death Penalty Attorney for Pennsylvania. Mr. Reynolds is a former prosecutor, having worked for over seven years as an Assistant District Attorney in both the Montgomery and Delaware County District Attorney’s Offices. During his career as a prosecutor, Mr. Reynolds prosecuted a number of high profile murder, sexual assault, drug trafficking and gambling cases. As such, he is extremely qualified to represent you in any criminal matter you have pending, whether complex or not, in both state and federal courts. Mr. Reynolds was previously appointed as a Special Assistant United States Attorney, where he prosecuted violent offenders and drug traffickers in federal court. He is experienced in the federal criminal process from pre-indictment investigations (Federal Grand Jury) and indictment through to all trial matters. Mr. Reynolds has the experience to represent you effectively in any federal criminal matter whether it is during the investigation process or post-arrest. Mr. Reynolds is uniquely qualified to assist you during any investigation that may be ongoing. For over two years, Mr. Reynolds was the supervising attorney in charge the Investigating Grand Jury. In that position, he worked hand-in-hand with law enforcement and other prosecutors from the initial investigation through to the conclusion of matters ranging from murder and narcotics cases to complex white color and gambling offenses. During this time, he also conducted several “Wire-Tap” investigations. Mr. Reynolds’ experience and knowledge of the inner workings of the Grand Jury and the “Wire-Tap” Act serves his clients well, whether they are the target of an investigation or merely a witness, because he is able to achieve the best possible pre-charge outcome for his clients. Mr. Reynolds has lectured before the Delaware County Board of Judges, has taught legal education classes for the Pennsylvania District Attorney’s Association and has lectured police officers and prosecutors on topics such as probable cause, investigative techniques and the Grand Jury. He has also taught both prosecutors and students on trial advocacy techniques. Mr. Reynolds is a Temple University graduate and received his Juris Doctorate from Temple University School of Law in 2001, evening division.

A good friend of mine recommended Coley and I'm so happy he did. I did not know what to do with my case but Mr. Reynolds walked me through the whole process. After seeing him in the court room I knew I made the right choice. When the judge came back with a not guilty verdict I almost cried. I owe my life and freedom to Coley Reynolds and I cannot recommend him enough.
Mr. Reynolds was AWESOME. He told me my options based on his courtroom experience and he was exactly right in how my case would play out. Coley O'Brien Reynolds has impacted my life in a way that I will truly never forget. He took the time to listen to my case and fight for me in court so that I would not lose the career I love. My case was relatively little to other cases he has worked with, so at first I thought he would possibly not devote enough time, or even believed that it wouldn't mean much to him. As someone who was being accused of a crime they did not commit, I was most definitely concerned for what may happen. After speaking to Coley for the first time, I instantly knew I wanted to hire him. He was very knowledgeable and took the time out to understand what exactly happened. Coley was straight forward with me about what I would be up against, and what exactly he would be able to do for me. Ultimately, Coley was able to get all charges dropped against me, and did so after using all his resources required to prove that I was the wrong guy accused. Coley didn't give up fighting for me at all, and to this day I'm very appreciative of his time and effort.
most attorneys I spoke with about my case wanted to talk about a plea. I was not interested in a deal. Coley took the time to thoughtfully discuss the options (motions/legal challenges, plea, trial, etc) and the possible range of outcomes. It seemed that the evidence was overwhelming (that's what the other attorneys said) but having been a former prosecutor, Coley knew that just becasue the police put it in the report didn't mean it would hold up in Court. In fact he got a lot of the evidence thrown out before the trial. He didn't give up fighting and although I was found guilty of a summary offense, what started out as a felony case where the other attornreys told me I would do county time, Coley got me out of jam with just paying a fine. If youre looking for someone to fight, that wont' give up, Coley is your guy.
