This lawyer was hired to fight a custodial parent for visitation after said parent was in contempt. Ms. Gulley went as far as to get a temporary order in place. Then, when things started getting complicated (as if a lawyers work isn't supposed to be complicated) Gulley dropped us. This occured after she filed a paper that would in fact have us sitting in front of the judge alone and without knowledge of all topics to be covered. The judge told us it was "not smart" to show up without a lawyer, and we ended up getting a halfway deal. Gulley kept $1000 or more of our money for services rendered, yet we ended up being forced to defend our own case. A case in which we didn't realize was going in front of the judge at all. We thought we were there just for child support review, but it also included the visitation review. We were blind-sided and then was ordered to pay lawyer fees for the other party. Under these circumstances, who could afford another attorney?
