About
Christopher H. Marine is a lifelong resident of Vero Beach. He serves as chairman of the firm's Real Property Group, the Finance & Institutional Lending Group, and he is also a member of the Business & Commercial Enterprise Group. Mr. Marine has been awarded an "AV" rating by Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest rating issued by the largest and most complete ratings registry of lawyers in the world. Mr. Marine graduated with honors from the University of Florida College of Law in 1983, and during his law school tenure he served on the Editorial Board of the Florida Law Review. Mr. Marine has over 25 years of practice experience in the area of real property, including residential and commercial transactions, construction and development, zoning and land use regulation, and corporate/commercial law and lending. Current projects of note include the Marsh Island Club, Palm Island Plantation, Providence, The Fountains Medical Complex, Quail Ridge, Hidden Hammock and Boulevard Tennis Village. Mr. Marine's extensive transactional practice has been recognized by Land America/Commonwealth title insurance company with its Executive Award for outstanding performance for ten consecutive years. Mr. Marine has also developed a practice emphasis in the area of wetlands mitigation banking, negotiated and regulatory conservation easement grants, and related transactional services. He is an active Associate Member of the National Mitigation Banking Association. In addition to the practice of law, Mr. Marine remains active within the Vero Beach business and civic community. He has served on the Board of the Education Foundation and he is a past President and current member of the Indian River County Real Property Council. He has served as Chairman and member of the Board of Adjustment/Appeal for the City of Vero Beach, and he is the current Chairman of the Indian River County Board of Zoning Adjustment/Appeal. Mr. Marine also manages the firm's commercial title insurance company, Island Title Agency. Mr. Marine's professional memberships include the Indian River County and American Bar Associations, and the Florida Bar.
