In addition to being a practicing attorney, I serve in the Mississippi Legislature as District 52 Senator.  I am the Senate Medicaid Chairman and Vice-Chairman of Senate Public Health Committee.  I also serve on Appropriations, Judiciary B and Education committees along with others.
