Commerical Litigator, Business & Tax Litigation Attorney in Columbus, Ohio. Christopher Tackett is an experienced litigator and problem solver that takes pride in identifying and executing creative solutions to resolve complex issues for his clients. Mr. Tackett represents businesses in commercial litigation; business negotiations; employment advising and litigation, including internal investigations and response to discrimination charges filed with the EEOC and OCRC; along with various types of administrative litigation before state and federal agencies, including those adjudicating employment matters and tax controversies. Mr. Tackett frequently handles commercial litigation matters involving complex contract disputes, contentious business breakups, D&O claims, IP and trade-secret litigation, and disputes regarding alleged non-solicitation or non-compete violations between businesses and their former employees. Also, Mr. Tackett has handled a number of cases involving class actions and other types of procedurally complex litigation, including as lead counsel defending a class action alleging violations of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA).Mr. Tackett is admitted to practice law in Ohio, as well as admissions to the federal district courts for the Northern and Southern District of Ohio, and admission to practice before the U.S. Tax Court.
