We recently worked with Chris and his firm to set up a trust. From the very first meeting to the last, we experienced efficiency, professionalism and were very satisfied indeed. The Team was experienced and attentive and did a great job assisting us through the complex process of setting up a trust with accompanying estate planning. They guided us while letting us navigate to the place that made sense for our specific situation. In fact as we met with professionals from a variety of organizations to complete final steps with the trust, we received feedback about the paperwork, its thoroughness and how they had not seen an "estate planning book" that was so complete. Thanks Chris, Michele and Logan!!
Chris Soto is an outstanding trust, wills and estate lawyer. I know this because I've worked with him extensively for over 20 years. Chris also drafted my family's trust documents, so I can personally attest to his excellent skills from a client's perspective. I highly recommend Chris to anyone who needs a top class attorney to work on their estate planning or trust matter.
My father was in the hospital and in need of estate planning. After consultation with my father, Chris was able to prepare documents that allowed our family to care for my father by way of Healthcare Power and Financial Power of Attorney. He was able to send his extremely knowledgeable staff to meet with my father in the hospital and gather signatures on his estate planning documents. I know that this was not normal, but Chris and his staff were able to handle this situation with ease. My father has since been released from the hospital and doing very well, but I know that we are much better prepared in the event this happens again. I am very grateful to Chris and his staff for making a stressful situation a little easier.
My husband and I put off creating new Wills and Living POA documents for a long time. Our existing wills were 30 years old and did not include our youngest child. Needless to say she was behind the push to get this accomplished. Chris Soto was referred to us 2 years ago. We don't usually procrastinate, but don't plan on needing these documents soon. It was very easy to talk with Chris about what we wanted. I highly recommend this firm. Not only are they professional and compassionate, but make you feel relaxed and comfortable. Thanks Chris and staff!
My husband and I are an older couple who had lost their spouses years ago. We came to Chris with two trusts we needed combined into one. From the moment we walked into the office we were treated with kindness and respect and professionalism. We never felt rushed and everything was written out as to what our wishes were. Every detail was explained carefully and we were encouraged to ask any questions or concerns we might have. We truly couldn't be happier with our trust and Chris and his associates. We've not only got our trust completed we've gained new friends! We would recommend Soto Law Firm highly.
Chris helped my husband and I update our estate documents to comply with Arizona law (we moved here from another state). He was very helpful in guiding us as we thought through details of our plan so that it would correspond to our intent for our assets as our children would grow and reach increased levels of maturity. Chris is good at explaining complex ideas simply in a way that's easy to understand. After it was complete, he gave us our documents in a very well organized binder that will make referring to them in the future very easy.
Word cannot express how highly I rate this attorney. Chris Soto is one the of most knowledgeable and professional lawyers I have ever met. I have been invovled in the legal profession as a paralegal and also as a wife of a top rated attorney in Washington State. I have seen many sides of the law in Civil and Business areas, and espcially in Estate Law. Being new to Arizona, I was apprehensive at finding a new lawyer. Chris was recommended by a financial advisor and it was one the best reommendations that I have ever received. My current husband is a citizen of another country, and we have been undergoing immigration and estate planning at the same time. Chris handled all of our Esate planning with such professionalism and knowledge that I felt so comfortable and confident in his advice. We executed documents (what I thought to bea lot of papers, at the time) for our estate planning. Chris' comment was "you might need this some time in your life." He was so right! We were in Europe 5 weeks later after the Estate documents were drawn up and we were selling a hours in another state. Needless to say, it was complicated and I didn't know what to do. On the off chance Chris would know what do to (since this isn't his area of expertise), he told me that I had a power of attorney that authorized my sister to sign in my place. I didn't even realize that this was one of the documents that Chris said "I might need in the future." He foresaw issues that was even in my realm of thinking. It saved me many hours of time, worry and money. Chris' billing is very reasonable and just because of the house sale, he saved me many thousands of dollars in this one incident. If he doesn't know an answer to a aquestion, he will find out and get back to you. He has found me attorneys in other areas of the law. He emails/ or phones back immediately. His staff is professional and efficent. Chris Soto is one of the best. You couldn't find a better attorney in Arizona or from my experience, anywhere!
