Chris has been employed as an attorney with the Charleston office of Pullin, Fowler, Flanagan, Brown & Poe, PLLC since 2011.  He practices defense litigation in areas of insurance, products liability, state and municipal government, civil rights and employment, construction, property damage, and toxic torts.  He previously has worked as an Assistant Public Defender and an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney and he has worked for Stark County Legal Aid Society, The Housing Advocates, Inc., the West Virginia Attorney General, and Thompson / West Publishing as a WestLaw legal research specialist.  Chris is licensed to practice law in West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky, and the District of Columbia and he is an active member of Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia. Chris is married to Angela Vance, and they live in the historic East End of Charleston, West Virginia.  He serves as a Board Member of the East End Community Association and he works through the MS Society of West Virginia - Blue Ridge Chapter to raise funds and awareness for MS research.  Chris is an active member of the WVU Alumni Band, the Kanawha Valley Community Band, Appalachian Gamers, the North American Scrabble Players Association, and the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels.
