Christopher has been a partner with The Moylan Law Firm since 2012. His practice areas include Patents, Intellectual Property, Business & Corporate Law (including Bankruptcy), and Import/Export Law. He has particular expertise advising small businesses and launching startups. Christopher is focused on helping entrepreneurs put into action legal tactics to reach their business goals. His patent practice relates to a broad range of technical fields but he has a focus working in biotechnology, medical devices, biochemistry, drug delivery, plant genetics, vaccines, blood controls, biotherapeutic agents, diagnostics, nutritional supplements, and pharmaceutical fields. Christopher is proud to have consistently held an “AV” rating in the Martindale Hubbell Law Directory.Christopher has spent most of his life in Baltimore. He graduated from Loyola-Blakefield High School. He graduated cum laude from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota, where he was a captain of the Men’s Club Lacrosse Team and attended Uppsala University in Uppsala, Sweden his junior year. Christopher obtained a J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law, where he served as Managing and Articles Editor of the University of Maryland Journal of International Law and as an orator on the law school’s International Moot Court Team. After law school, Christopher was Law Clerk to the Honorable J. Fredrick Price of the Circuit Court for Kent County, Maryland. Following his clerkship, Christopher began his private practice at The Moylan Law Firm, where he began trying cases within weeks of joining. After becoming registered to practice before United States Patent and Trademark Office, Christopher obtained a M.S. in Biotechnology (Concentration in Biotechnology Enterprise) from the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.Christopher is admitted to the following state bars: Maryland, the District of Columbia, New Jersey, Virginia (currently associate status), Pennsylvania and New York. He is also admitted to following federal courts: U.S. District Courts for Maryland, District of Columbia, and New Jersey; U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Fourth, District of Columbia, and Federal Circuit; and the U.S. Supreme Court.Christopher is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association (MSBA) Intellectual Property Section, the Baltimore County Bar Association and the Swedish-American Bar Association (membership limited to Swedish-speaking U.S. attorneys). He is a member of the Johns Hopkins Club, the Justinian Society, the Towson Chamber of Commerce (WinterFest committee member), the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce (DC Chapter) and serves on the events committee for Kids for Kenya(a charity that provides funding and support for the development of Primary School education facilities and infrastructure in the Kasigau region of Southwestern Kenya) and The Johns Hopkins Children’s Center.Christopher is active in coaching multiple youth sports, having coached several Towson Recreation Boys’ Soccer, Kelly Post Girls’ Lacrosse and Towsontowne Girls’ Field Hockey teams. For several years, Christopher served as Cubmaster for Cubscout Pack 352 for several years. The Boy Scouts of America awarded Christopher their Cub Scouter Award in 2009.Christopher is fluent in Swedish, Norwegian, Danish and has reading knowledge of German.
