Laura graduated cum laude from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. She then attended George Mason Law School in Arlington, Virginia, graduating with a certification in Public Interest. Among many early family law experiences and sources of passion, she spent her final year of law school representing clients in family law matters with Legal Services of Northern Virginia. There, she primarily handled cases involving divorce, child custody disputes, and domestic violence.
