Christopher T. Karounos is a recognized by the N.J. Supreme Court as a Certified Civil Trial Attorney. His practice focuses on the areas of commercial law, civil litigation, chancery court, family law and personal injury litigation.  Mr. Karounos is also well versed in the highly focused area of New Jersey Liquor Law and is a trained mediator, previously listed by the Supreme Court on its Roster of Mediators. Mr. Karounos began his legal career as the Law Clerk for the Honorable Menelaos W. Toskos, J.S.C. (Bergen).  After his clerkship Mr. Karounos served as a Commercial Litigation Associate at Lowenstein Sandler's headquarter office in Roseland N.J. for several years.  Christopher then returned to his Bergen County roots as a Litigator at Herten Burstein which, in 2011, merged and became the North Jersey headquarters for Archer & Greiner, P.C.  Mr. Karounos remained a Litgator and Trial Attorney with Archer & Greiner until forming Karounos & Associates, LLC in June of 2013.  Christopher T. Karounos, Esq. represents corporate and individual clients in a variety of matters including; contract rights, business divorce, consumer fraud claims, products liability, class action, insurance coverage disputes, closely held corporate litigation, domestic violence, divorce, and personal injury matters.
