Mr. Howdeshell was the court-approved attorney for my uncle's estate. The case had been on-going for over a year when Mr. Howdeshell replaced former counsel, my counsel as Conservator of my uncle and the estate. Simply put, Mr. Howdeshell bravely assumed duties as counsel to finalize my (then deceased) uncle's estate. He stepped into a quagmire. The Conservatorship had been contentious, protracted and replete with hostility. Upon my uncle's death, the Conservatorship ended, and Mr. Howdeshell became a familiar voice and face in court proceedings. I worked in the legal profession as a paralegal for more than thirty years, in law firms both large and small. Chris Howdeshell takes his place on a long list of attorneys I've known and seen practice law under the same rules of professional conduct and ethics, and with uncommon skill. His place on that list is at the top. He is trustworthy, reliable, candid, extraordinarily talented, thorough, and, most of all, he is a very good, decent man. He believes strongly in the Code of Professional Conduct and Code of Ethics. He practices them. And? He still wins.
