Clem is a seasoned lawyer with extensive experience in the area of commercial transactions and has positively impacted corporate efficiency and profitability for Fortune 50 companies and small businesses over the years.  As part of his experience, he served as assistant general counsel for Enron Corp. and was appointed by bankruptcy trustee as a lead member on the corporate restructuring team after what was one of the largest bankruptcies in U.S. history.  He represents corporations, their stakeholders and financial investors in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, leveraged buyouts and business startups. In addition, he regularly provides counsel on estate planning, general corporate and compliance matters and corporate governance issues as outsourced general counsel.Clem is a musician, martial artists and loves community involvement by tutoring kids for the Life Enrichment Center of Norfolk.
