From the time I contacted Mr. Carr until our date in front of the judge, Chris showed professionalism by knowing the law, my rights, and communicating all aspects of my case to me. In front of the judge, he explained the facts of the case in the same manner as I told them to him. This showed how importnat I was to him and it built a relationship of trust that I never expected to have for a lawyer. I appreciate everything he did and the way he handled my case.

Mr. Carr understands the legal process and has an appreciation for it more than most attorneys I have ever met. By representing a criminal case, there is an obligation to the client but also an obligation to the truth. Chris is fair and accurate on both accounts. Getting a more than fair judgment is what you will get if you work with Chris and his firm. There are very few folks that are willing to fight so hard for a client knowing that some clients make it impossible. I have seen that first hand in many court rooms and just appreciate his integrity and advice. He is always willing to take time to listen and recommend options, but at the same time he does allow clients like me to make the final decision. He will settle or go to trial depending on client wishes, but only after he explains the legal process and the reality of the outcomes on both ends.

Chris did a great job on a speeding ticket I received a couple of years ago. He was able to plead my speeding ticket down so it would not go on my record. He saved my driving record and prevented my insurance from sky rocketing. Chris has also provided me some great advise on a recent photo enforcement ticket for a red light violation. Chris was straight forward with his fees, and what he could do for me in my situation. He is the lawyer I trust to go to if I am in a legal situation and my first call for legal advise.

Chris went far above and beyond for me by informing of services, meeting me in advance of court, and explaining all my options. He was clearing well prepared for court and by doing so got me a favorable outcome. I would and have recommended him to my friends who have all been happy with his services as well.

Chris was very helpful in defending my case. He was knowledgable and kept me informed of the process and any items I had questions on. He was honest on everything and never tired to "sugar coat" items. He is very responsive and trustworthy. I would recommend him to anyone needing legal services and/or advice.

Chris did an excellent job for me and I highly recommend him. He handled my legal matters with knowledge and professionalism. He explained the pros and cons of my case and was honest about the expected results. He was very responsive and walked me through everything I needed. I felt as ease knowing he had the ability and knowledge to get me the best results available.

To summarize my chief complaints; the communication was so sparse and misleading, that I do believe Chris was disinterested, unprepared, or distracted by the opportunity to generate quick revenue to the firm. Regardless of the outcomes, I feel I deserved more in terms of communication and consultation than just meeting to collect fees and 15min before each court appearance. Furthermore, Chris failed to respond to a significant number of my questions by phone and email, and when he did, the responses were insufficient, inaccurate, or untimely. Telling me what I hoped to hear with regards to sentencing, probation, and travel, resulted in greater damages than if he’d given me an accurate or worst-case scenario. While it may be impractical to file a complaint before the Attorney Regulation Counsel, as lack of effort, poor performance, and failure to adequately communicate with a client is not necessarily malfeasance, bait and switch of strategy/fees might be seen as unethical if it was deliberate. I believe deep down Chris is a good man who was just over his head and under a lot of pressure to produce for the firm, rather than for the client.
