Tina represented me in a high conflict divorce. She was totally professional and had my best interest at heart. I would highly recommend using her.
I hired Tina to handle my complex divorce. Her professionalism and expertise helped me to understand my legal rights in the divorce process. I felt she was always looking out for my family's best interests. Tina always took the time to make sure I was aware of the consequences of the decisions that I made. Both she and her staff were always very professional and responsive to my needs. I would highly recommend Tina!
I was a client of Tina Patierno. She was excellent and helped me through a very difficult time. She passionately helped me obtain a great financial settlement and parenting plan. She handled the matter with great expertise and was very professional. I have recommended her to several friends and colleagues.
Tina represented me in my divorce. She always conducted herself ethically and with the highest degree of professionalism. Divorce is a very emotional and complicated process, and it was very reassuring having Tina as my attorney. She genuinely cares about my family and I felt a level of comfort having her on my side. She did an amazing job of explaining things to me and helping me to understand this very difficult legal process. She is very knowledgable of the law and complex situations. I highly recommend Tina and her firm.
Tina represented me in my divorce and I was very grateful to have her on my side. She was professional at all times and her advice and guidance helped me make good decisions at a very difficult time. She was supportive and realistic about my expectations and very knowledgeable about the process. I would recommend Tina to anyone that needed her expertise. She was amazing!
I hired Patierno and she did not fight to get what was fair nor did she take the time to explain information that I continually asked her about and was confused. In the end, my ex-husband got a large portion of my pension and I got absolutely nothing from him. Since I have a defined benefit pension plan I am not eligible to receive my ex-spouse's social security retirement. When asking how this was fair, I remember her saying "what's the problem?" you get to keep your 401 (k) and he keeps his (401K). I continually pointed out the inequity with the pension plans which she ignored. At the time of my divorce , my ex-husband was a drug addict and was facing jail time for leaving my daughter outside in -12 degree weather. My biggest concern was regarding custody of her to keep her safe, but now over a decade later I realize how she didn't fight for my future. I am now retiring from teaching and sadly facing reduced benefits from my pension and giving it to my ex-husband who currently does not work and is a drug addict. I wished I chose an attorney who could have fought for my rights and future earnings.
My experience with Christina Patierno was appalling. She did not make progress on my case, but for 4-5 months ran up very large bills. I finally had to take things into my own hands to try to get the proceedings to move along - at which point she got testy. I put up with the lack of efficiency until she laughingly told me, in a phone call for which she was billing me, that she and opposing counsel were joking that my case "could be made into a Lifetime movie." That's when I finally realized that I had to fire her. I hired another firm and my (relatively straightforward) case was wrapped up very quickly, for a much lower rate.
I used Patierno 11 years ago and am very disappointed with the outcome that is now affecting my retirement pension.. It has been 11 years since my official divorce and I am now happily married to someone else. As I am now planning my retirement I just found out that my ex-husband will receive 22% of my pension benefit. At the time of the divorce, I asked Patierno repeatedly to explain how much retirement money he would get when I retired. She was frustrated with my questions and told me it was an unknown number until I retire. She told me to quit calIing her with this question. I regret using Patierno and am now looking at sharing my hard earned retirement money with my ex husband whom I got nothing from in the divorce. In addition, I just learned that my current husband can not be the beneficiary on my PERA pension account. If I die, my ex-husband receives a lump sum not my current husband. I now realize Patierno took a lot of money from me and wasn't even on my side.
