I hired Chrissy to get custody of my 2 grandchildren. She got it for me. She talks to you in terms you can understand. My daughter had another baby and he went to a foster mom. I hired Chrissy again and she at this point in the case she got me temporary custody. The judge in his 20 + years has never taken a baby out of states custody and I was the second. Chrissy is an amazing attorney. I would recommend her to anyone going through a custody battle.

Ms.Christina was nothing but amazing! This was truly a rough journey but by the grace of god we made it through. At times, I wanted to give up, wasn’t sure how I was going to pay for my lawyer, bills ,and etc. She ensured me all was going to be ok, as long as I was honest, and stick to the plan court orders etc. My kids father took me through hell and back, told lies, completely tried to make me out to be something he is a bad parent! I Want to say My lawyer went through two of his lawyers and all was justified. She was prepared even at the last minute when changes would occur. She may be pricey but it’s the price I will pay to make sure my babies get the support they need……. There’s no amount of money that can make me think anything different. She’s worth every amount in my book!! We won!!

My attorney was excellent every time we went to Court. She was always prepared and conveyed my case expertly to the Court------she won custody of my grandchildren for me!

I would absolutely not recommend Chrissy Mincy to anyone needing positive outcomes and would only recommend her to my worst enemy. She did a serious disservice to me during my divorce and custody case. She was never prepared for any of our meetings and always seemed like she didn’t even read any of the notes prior to us meeting. She came to mediation underprepared and had not reviewed any of the documentation/evidence I provided her. She seemed to always have her own personal problems she was dealing with and lacked the mental capacity to service my needs in an appropriate manner. My children have suffered for as a result of her incompetence in mediation and I have had to seek additional legal counsel.

"Chrissy" was my lawyer for the past year. I needed a legal agreement drawn up between my ex and myself concerning the amount of child support owed to me. Her advice concerning my rights as a newly single mother were crucial to me, however, when I hired her to help draw up an agreement, I felt like she was not on my side or actually even sympathetic. Yes, I was stupid to trust someone and leave myself vulnerable (my ex and I never married), but the experience of being left after two kids and 7 years of being a stay at home mom left me very raw, even after two years. My intentions with him were pure. My goal with Chrissy as my lawyer was to have a written agreement (as opposed to our dynamic verbal agreement) to hold my ex accountable to financial obligations of child support (to be based fairly on our incomes). I thought that this should not be so complicated, but Chrissy insisted upon working on a complicated lease agreement, (I rent from my ex), which I didn't want her to work on (for $250/hour) as I am a Realtor and can write my own, which actually lead to my ex freaking out and charging me a new $500 deposit fee, and him threatening to increase my rent $200/month (I rent from him)... She also insisted on an in-depth parenting plan which was not something we had any issues with which took much time (and of course money). I am a single mom. During the course of our time working together she completely forgot a meeting she had scheduled with me, and never bothered to apologize. And, without warning decided she no longer wanted to work on my case after using up my $2500 retainer, which makes me feel sick as I closely watch every dollar I have. I am no closer to my goal after spending all this money and she decided she doesn't wan to work on my case anymore and disclosed this fact without warning in an impersonal letter to me. I think because the case turned into something in which she would be required to do "discovery" into the finances of my ex, she didn't want to do the extra work to fight for my rights and essentially got scared off by my ex's expensive lawyer that he can afford to pay. Meanwhile I am out $2500 and back at square one. My feelings are hurt. I thought my lawyer would want to help me (stupid me again), especially as I am paying $250/hour. I feel like what they say about lawyers having no heart rings true. I'm sure she will charge me her time for the paperwork to quit on me too.
