About
Before you talk to an insurance carrier, please talk with a plaintiff's lawyer who genuinely cares and can help. I am currently working in the insurance industry to help empower accident victims/plaintiff company carriers and ensure that wrongdoers whether they be large companies or negligent individuals more quickly and completely compensate accident victims and plaintiffs. My view is that an accident victim, plaintiff organization or business, is best served when they retain a full service firm dedicated to expedient, fair, and zealous advocacy of clients’ rights and remedies available under law.I am a personal injury and plaintiff litigation attorney licensed to practice law in the State of California and in federal courts. My work has centered on and is dedicated to plaintiff, personal injury, and insurance law and litigation. I started working in the insurance industry over 20 years ago such that I know the good and the bad that the industry can do, strategies and vulnerabilities such that I am able to fight more effectively for plaintiff's rights. I have worked for and with insurance multiple carriers and TPA’s including (Farmers, AAA, State Farm, GEICO, BoatUS, Selective, QBE, Star, Ocean Harbor, Praetorian, Aegis Security, Hudson, Equity, American Claims Management, Tidewater Pacific Adjusters, and Wawanesa). I started out in 1991 as a field appraiser vehicle damage adjuster with Farmers. In that time I promoted into liability and bodily injury claims (from auto, motorcycle, boating, pedestrian accidents, to slip and falls and dog bites), into special investigation unit work, litigation, company compliance with the CA Department of Insurance Fair Claims Practice Act, claims training from investigation to negotiation, into company management with the focus on ensuring insurance companies keep their promises to their policyholders and the persons they negligently harmed. My favorite quote is from President Theodore Roosevelt (who fought valiantly against big business corruption) who’s approach to justice was to“Speak softly and carry a big stick”. On this premise, a truly wise firm will seek fair and equitable settlements when feasible (speaking softly when helpful). And will strive to ensure insurance companies keep their promises to make you whole. In doing so we seek to keep honest people honest and even compel those who choose to be dishonest to be honest, at least in their dealings with represented clients. However, in the event that amicable settlement is not possible, then a truly genuine firm will stand ready, able and willing to litigate matters (our big stick) with a firm belief in preserving and protecting client rights. Most plaintiff and personal injury attorney initial consultations are free. I am able to help you find legal resources with medical care resources you need on a lien basis (who do not charge you payment up front), and remember most reputable personal injury attorneys do not get paid attorneys fees unless the firm wins through settlement or arbitration award or jury verdict.
