After working with Sullivan Ward, Seyburn Kahn, and Jaffe, I can honestly say that Chelsea is an all-star. She puts all the other attorneys I've worked with to shame. Not only does she bill at a competitive rate, but the corporate structure that she came up with blew my expectations. Her expertise and passion for law is simply unmatched. Over a few short visits, I left with a binder that contained my corporate structures for 10 entities and the associated stock certificates. This woman is incredible. 5 out of 5 stars.
Chelsea was in my corner from the start, providing not just legal advice and representation but assistance in communicating with my family--and just generally looking out for my well-being. Chelsea was warm, while being direct and honest about my situation and my options. Not only did she support me directly, but she helped me navigate to the best representatives for the legal and civil aspects of my cases, connecting me with other quality attorneys, as needed. She communicated with me continuously during lengthy proceedings, and helped me understand the complicated jargon and insular language of legal documents without being judgmental or condescending, and without losing patience. I wholeheartedly recommend Chelsea as a first-person-to-call in legal or civil matters, when you need a lawyer on whom you can depend and a person you can trust.
Chelsea is always available and returns my emails/calls quickly and provides sound advice. I will continue to use her services for my personal and business taxes and legal advice. I recommend her highly!
Chelsea is a caring and professional attorney. She took the time to carefully review my case, prior to accepting it. Chelsea kept me informed throughout the entire legal process, which is something no other lawyer has done before. I highly recommend her legal services.
As a fellow CPA, I've consulted with Chelsea on a variety of topics and she is invaluable to me as a resource. She has an expansive knowledge of tax forms and codes which, coupled with her legal expertise is a one of a kind!
I hired Chelsea for a PRE appeal. Price was incredibly fair and she took time to review and jump on a call to discuss all information prior to our informal hearing w/ the State of MI. What she didn't do was question some basic information (the fact that I was maintaining two addresses and why) that ended up getting questioned in the hearing. Luckily we were able to navigate through it and win the appeal, but we were definitely caught flat footed in the hearing and I ended up having to follow up with additional information to best position us to close the concern brought up in the hearing. A bit surprised this was missed on the front end. Chelsea suggested we request an abatement on the interest penalty. She had an associate draft a letter to the city in which the property was located. The city said the appeal instead needed to go to the state. When I requested Chelsea's counsel on redirecting the request she became completely unresponsive. I emailed her 4 times and called 2 times over the course of 3wks without response. I left messages with the admin each time I called. Still no response. If she under-quoted the job and wasn't willing to help any longer, or was busy with something else and needed more time before she could get with me, she certainly didn't state it. To be brushed off in this manner definitely leaves a bad taste in my mouth. For these reasons, I would not recommend Chelsea. This was a stressful enough situation. To be dropped at the tail end was both unexpected and disappointing.
She has multiple lawsuits against her due to her involvement in money laundering of millions of dollars from colleagues & clients.
