Mr. Thomas was absolutely wonderful to work with. I was scared out of my wits with my sudden situation in which I thought I would be trapped living in a building that violated health codes. Mr. Thomas responded to me very quickly, and the amount of information he had to counter each of my fears helped calm me down immensely. I had a lot of questions and he was always more than prompt with a reply. He guided me through exactly what I needed to do and then he took it from there, updating me on his progress. I'm so extremely thankful that I had him on my side, as my case was quickly resolved in my favor. What I paid was very fair, and so well worth it to preserve my sanity and well being. He is also an ally to LGBT folk, which is an essential quality I seek out when I'm considering who I want to work with. Would definitely work with again, A+.
Charles was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable and personable, and made the entire experience a breeze for me, getting the case dismissed with speed and diligence. Thank you!
I had Mr. Thomas handle a protection order for me. He professionally stepped me through the process, was communicative and kept me in the loop through the entire process, which involved multiple iterations. The protection order worked well. Satisfied client!
Several months ago I started receiving flyers by mail seemingly out of the blue. They offered protection from being sued, and offers of bankruptcy assistance. It turns out they knew I was about to be served, and took what felt like an unethical route to try to get my business. I contacted Mr. Thomas, who promptly looked up my case, sent me the information I needed, and informed me of what all would be involved and what he thought he could do for me. I was being sued for old credit card debt. He charged me an extremely fair, flat rate and met with me a couple times over the course of the next month to handle paperwork & take care of business. Had I not had a lawyer, I easily would have had a judgment passed against me. Even if the outcome had not been in my favor (which it was,) I feel that Mr. Thomas was an asset to have on my side. He took the time to listen and was very clear in helping me to manage my expectations. 10/10, would hire again.
My landlord engaged in retaliatory rent increases, including a demand for years of unjustified back rent. Mr. Thomas contacted them and negotiated a satisfactory outcome, and kept us from having to drag them into court.
Charles was not only able to help me negotiate with my landlords when my small business was in jeopardy, but he was able to get results quickly and always wanted to make sure that he had a thorough understanding of my circumstances so as not to mis communicate anything. If you're looking for someone who will represent you accurately and professionally, Charles is your man.
Last year I was brought up on over eighty felony counts in Montgomery County. Mr. Thomas did an amazing job. He represented me with vigor and amazing intelligence. The judge at sentencing commented that Mr. Thomas had done an excellent job. Even after giving a full blown confession to the cops, Mr. Thomas was able to work out a sweetheart of a deal. I ended up pleading guilty to two counts, one of which was a misdemeanor. If you want a lawyer that will listen and has your best interest at heart I highly recommend Mr. Thomas.
I'm going thru a credit card civil case......on my own and needed some help. Mr. Thomas was super quick to respond and helpful.
Before a couple of months ago I never had any need for a lawyer, so I never dealt with any. My ideas about what it meant to obtain legal representation were shaped by stale jokes and stereotypes. I assumed that I would not be able to afford a lawyer due to ridiculous hourly rates. I figured my lawyer wouldn't care about my case as it was sure to be one of many. I was basically just bracing for impact; and then I was referred to Charles Thomas. He charged me a flat fee for his services and made me aware up front of what my different options would cost. He kept in touch with me marvelously throughout the settlement process (I chose to settle which was both my least expensive option and the least lucrative choice of action for him, and I still felt that he always had my best interests at heart). I feel like I'm rambling on at this point but I'm sort of still ecstatic from the relief of finally being able to put this lawsuit behind me. Trust a guy who feared the worst and got some real help: if you need legal representation, hire Charles Thomas.
Charles got me into a first-time offenders program, and despite fearing that my life would TOTALLY be over, the process was not too horrible and now that I've completed the program, I'm back on an unrestricted license.
