Dr. Rawlings has exceptionally broad knowledge and extraordinary expertise. He also is down-to-earth with an upbeat demeanor. He patiently listened with sincere compassion and promptly responded to my many questions and concerns. He explained what to expect throughout the process and provided excellent guidance, while proving skillful determination toward a successful outcome. I'm thoroughly pleased and extremely grateful to Dr. Rawlings and staff for their expert services.
I hired Mr. Rawlings to represent me in a medical malpractice case. He and his entire staff were extremely professional and knowledgeable about all aspects of the healthcare system as well as all facets of the law. He was very personable and able to explain things in a way that was easy to understand. I felt very confident in the advice he and his staff were providing me. He utilized his years of medical training and practice in conjunction with his legal expertise to help me achieve a desirable outcome.
A couple of years ago I hired Dr. Rawlings to handle a lawsuit that I had against a day spa. The injuries I sustained were because their tech was not sufficiently trained. Dr. Rawlings did a fantastic job with the case. He is very easy to speak with and genuinely cares about his clients and will fight extremely hard to either win or settle in their favor. Without any reserve I would recommend him and his team.
Rawlings agreed to consultation re my surgical injury after I posted on the Bar's matching service. During what was supposed to be a 30 minute consult (actually he only gave me 15), he all but said that my case was very strong. No excuse for the level of injury I had suffered during a routine surgery, he said. I was so encouraged and thus eager to proceed. Turns out, he wanted $1000 (on top of the 52 paid for initial consult) to "read medical records." I delivered these to him (which I have since learned is not how most lawyers do this - THEY get your records and work on contingency), paid him, and after he failed to appear for our follow-up appt to discuss his findings, he finally called 3 weeks later to say, too bad, no case. Why? Because I should have known the complications of this surgery, he said, and besides, I had signed a consent form. If this is what the case hinged on, why didn't he ask me up front if I'd signed one? Why did he even need to read my records? To add insult to injury, he mailed my records back with a letter saying that after his careful consideration, "[my] mother's case" wouldn't stand! He didn't even know who was injured. $1050 for nothing.
Called his office got the run around and then asked for money up front. When I said I didn't have that kind of money but may pay some upfront and then wait for Settlement they said they couldn't help me. Just another lawyer looking for a quick score
