Mr. Haas was both my Divorce Lawyer and Bankruptcy Lawyer. He represented me very well. I would recommend Mr.Haas to anyone. Keep up the Good Work!
Mr. Haas has cost me $25,000. He did not do the work I paid him to do and he "lost" documents that he requested from me. I had to hire another attorney to try to get out of the mess that he made. He ignored all my phone calls, saying he was with a client and would call call me back. He never once did. Stay away!!
As in the 2006 reprimand Mr. Haas was inaccessible, exhibited a poor attitude, office is a mess, was rude and curt. did not seem to know the law. I did not get my moneys' worth. His assistant is no help at all.
Big deal, so he's been reprimanded. He's a good, competent, experienced, astute and knowledgeable lawyer. He's extremely focused and will get the job done, whatever it may call for, legally. Anyone who has done anything in their life has been "reprimanded" by somebody. This doesn't mean the particular person or persons is right or even just, in incurring the reprimand, irregardless of what it may be for. It simply means that this man has been around, and when a person has been around they're bound to get into a little "hot water" by some organization. It's an indication of individuality and assertiveness. This is a good sign not a bad sign, contrary to popular belief. This is a great and trustworthy lawyer. He's not afraid to get his feet wet and wade in to deep waters. I would recommend him to anyone. When you get through talking with him, there will be no ambiguity or misunderstanding as to what he is trying to convey to you. He is very direct and very clear in his manner of communication. And, I might add, a graduate of one of the best law schools in the country, The University of Detroit.
