Without knowing him, yet with the brief advice, he delivered to me, I will say, " He is the best attorney I have ever seen. ' HANDS DOWN ' He will get what he wants, what he needs, and, most importantly what his clients need. He is my number one choice for his practice area. In addition, I will refer everybody to him, and I will seek referrals from him. Thank you, Charles, since you have added happiness to our lives, and we will return some joy to your being as well. OUTSTANDING !!!!

Since hiring Attorney Candiano, I have been kept informed about my case. I have been able to talk to him about problems and he has responded appropriately. I was referred to this attorney in April, 2012 by a co-worker who praised him. I have not regretted hiring him.

Charles Candiano represented us in the wrongful death case of my father. He also represented my father’s wife. He brokered a deal between my father’s wife and us on how to split the settlement. This deal was memorialized in emails, verbally and in official documents. He later attempted to change the deal to our detriment and in favor of the wife. He was not transparent in his communications between parties. It was clear at this point there was a conflict of interest. He failed to communicate and apprise us of developments in the case. He failed to report expenses and fees despite our repeated request to do so. It became clear we needed to protect our rights. Therefore, we were left no option but to hire our own separate counsel. This led us to incur unnecessary legal fees in excess of $70,000 to force him to honor the original deal he brokered. Justice did prevail and he was court ordered by the circuit court and the Appellate court to honor the original agreement he brokered. He never paid my father’s wife her portion of the settlement. The only reason we got our portion is because we hired our own counsel to sue him for it. Given that we incurred unnecessary legal fees having to force him to honor the deal he brokered, we hired counsel and sued him for Malpractice, Negligence, and Breech of Fiduciary Duty in order to recover these fees. The case went on for 3 years until recently he tried to settle with us. Given recent health problems in our family and just wanting to put this behind us we reluctantly agreed to settle for a ridiculously and insultingly low figure. He then did not pay. We are filing a complaint with the ARDC.
