I am in the privte practice of law in Baton Rouge.  I have been handling injury cases, and civil litigation for more than 18 years. I pride myself on providing clients with excellent advice, soutions rather than continued or unneccesary litigation and professional and aggressive court room representation when it is needed. I have collected hundreds of thousands of dollars for people who have been injured by the negligence of others and helped small businesses stand up to overbearing state regulators and lawsuits.  As the former General Counsel for the Louisian Deaprtment of Transportation and Development I have deep understanding of state government, the public bid process, expropriation and governmental realtions. I would encourage anyone that needs a lawyer in the Baton Rouge area to interview more than one lawyer before hiring anyone.  I do not charge for initial meetings and you may get alternative ways to handle your matter.  Hiring a lawyer is a big decision and not one that should be made only on the recommendation of a friend or because of a television or radio advertisement. I look forward to speaking with you and helping to solve your legal problem.
