Extra star because relatively cheap, but if you divide the rate by the amount of time this firm/lawyer spends on you (zero), you quickly realize that you are getting what you pay for, even a little less.
I feel that giving anyone 1 star is a bit harsh considering that due services were rendered, however Chad is the closest I have come to disavowing counsel. Apart from being unprepared for THE day in court, Chad is lackluster in his strategy and totally impersonal with clients & cases. My family was in great emotional distress and to see the apathy with which we were treated is somewhat concerning and very much insulting. Please do not hire such lawyers based on the first phone number you find on google, they will get you through your day in court but that is about it & certainly without victory.
If you don't care about your kids or never want to see your kids....Hire this clown cause he is good at loosing in every way possible. If you do care DONT HIRE ANYONE FROM THIS OFFICE!!!!! From a former customer/victim
It is a travesty that Mr. Butler is recognized by the Tennessee Bar Association and is still actively representing clients. I am left baffled that this man was able to pass a test in which you are presumed to be knowledgeable of Tennessee state law. On multiple occasions I had to remind Mr. Butler when my court hearings were scheduled and other basic information regarding my case. When confronted with questions his eyes seemed to have glossed over as if he had little to no idea what I was asking. To say that I was deeply concerned would be an understatement. I will now consider pivoting into the field of law after this experience as I have learned that one does not have to be qualified, nor competent, to represent clients within this great state.
This is the worst legal experience I have ever had. Chad did not even as much know my age on the day of court- he was ready to have a minor tried as an adult with a smile on his face. Doesn’t answer emails, failed to retrieve traffic tapes for FOUR MONTHS. Only reason Chad may be worth hiring is that your case will get thrown out in the future for ineffective assistance of counsel. There is absolutely zero sense of “fight for the client” in this horrible attorney.
