About

I am a trial lawyer in Fayetteville, Arkansas.  Before moving to private practice,  I spent over 5 years as a Washington County Deputy Prosecuting Attorney prosecuting felonies, misdemeanors, and conducting civil asset forfeitures.  During that time, I conducted numerous jury trials in cases ranging from murder and robbery, to sex assault and other crimes.  I obtained my Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Columbia College, graduating magna cum laude.  I went on to earn my Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 2007. I am also a former soldier in the United States Army.  During the Balkan War, I deployed as part of the first NATO ground force ever assembled in history to conduct peacekeeping operations. Because of this, veterans have a special place in my heart.  I am a proud member of the Veterans of Foregin Wars and am honored to serve as counsel to Wings for Our Troops.  This is a local non-profit organization that provides airfare for service personnel stationed around the world to fly home to be with their families. I am a trial attorney focused on criminal defense and civil litigation.  If you have a legal problem, I can help.

I have recently completed a legal case with Mark Booher as my attorney, and I am very satisfied with the outcome. I feel that Mr. Booher did a great deal of work in the background on my behalf, and he tried to minimize my required presence and time spent in the legal proceedings as much as possible, while keeping me fully informed. I can confidently state that he is a caring and supportive counselor-at-law, who interprets the title "counselor" in its broadest meaning, i.e., both attorney and personal advisor. He is clearly aware of the client's concerns and is careful and sensitive in giving good-natured, personal reassurance and advice, as well as giving detailed explanations of the processes ahead, minimizing the client's "fear of the unknown". From the start, he treated me as welcome and important to him, though my case was likely among his minor ones, but he always gave me the feeling that my case was worthwhile and would be handled with the utmost care. He also has an excellent legal assistant who is well-informed in every way, and who can be contacted throughout the work day. It is quite evident that Mr. Booher's 5 years as a County Deputy Prosecuting Attorney gives him advantageous knowledge of the laws and the legal system from both sides of the bench.
