Ms. Scoon's performance as an attorney in Family Law was most disappointing. She did not heed the warnings about the opposing party's mental cruelty or his punishment(s) as a result. Post divorce my papers were examined by another attorney here in town and the comment made was that the children and I were certainly not well represented nor protected in the matter. I would not recommend Ms. Scoon as a Family Law attorney. She may in fact be a very nice person but is not, in my opinion, an effective attorney. Divorces are a dime a dozen, but not all divorces are "Blah, blah, blah and same old same old". If a client expresses concern and fear, she needs to hear and heed their concerns and fears.
