We met with Ms. MacLachlan to identify the legal steps to evict an individual that refused to leave our property. She took the time to explain in detail what was required- she explained our rights and the tenant's. She formulated a notification to the tenant and ensured it was sent and recorded in a timely manner. The notification was effective and we were able to resolve the issue. Ms. MacLachlan was very professional and responded to our request quickly and efficiently. We would not hesitate to use her services in the future.
Attorney MacLachlan is my attorney and got my money from divorce settlement from several years ago. She did the necessary paperwork and got payments started for me. She really cares about serving her clients. I would highly recommend her to anyone
I was given Catherine Maclachlan's name and contact information by way of a mutual friend. I was just at the beginning of what was quickly turning into a nasty divorce and had no clue as to what I should expect regarding the process of divorce, lawyers, judges, court rooms, emotions, and the list goes on and on. I contacted Catherine and explained to her my situation and how I was already emotionally exhausted and overwhelmed by the divorce process and that I was just getting started. Catherine asked me if I already had a lawyer representing me to which I anxiously replied "No, I don't what I'm doing!" I explained to her that although I lived in a different State than her, any guidance that she could give me would be greatly appreciated. As I came to learn Catherine's insightful ability and empathy let her know that I was desperate for someone to take me through the process step by step. Realizing my lack of knowledge in these shark infested waters of divorce, she took the time and explained to me how to find an attorney that would have my best interests in mind. Catherine took as much time with me as I needed to thoroughly understand the A, B, C's, of how divorce proceedings particular to my situation usually get resolved. As well, she made sure that I was aware of the high's and low's that I would experience throughout this unfortunate procedure. After I had bent Catherine's ear for I don't know how long, she told me that at any time if I had any further questions that I could contact her. For the first time since the talk of divorce became my reality, I finally began to feel like I had a road map to follow instead of just wandering around in the desert of uncertainty. Subsequently, I did as Catherine advised me and found a wonderful attorney in my location, who was impressed by the questions that I asked concerning my case. I told him that I had been very fortunate in speaking with another attorney before coming to him who put me on the right path. As the divorce process went along, I contacted Catherine and thanked her for all her help. She asked me how things were going and again let me bend her ear asking questions and venting about the unfortunate nature of divorce in general. I can't say enough about Catherine Maclachlan as an attorney except that during one of the lowest moments in my life she took the time to educate me and empathize with me.
I hired this attorney, paid her requested fee in TOTAL at first meeting, $1000 Dollars!. I was told it would be a one-time flat fee and so states our contract. I did not get the professional representation she promised and after pressing for results she proceeded to drop her representation of my case with the court. She never took a written note at any of our several meetings in person in her office. I had to hire another competent attorney who handled my divorce the correct way and in a timely manner! Near the end of our relationship she asked me for more money. I have documentation.
