Cassie believes in advocating for clients as efficiently and as thoroughly as possible while always putting people first. Through four previous years of relevant legal experience, working as a translator for several years, working abroad for a year, and working in a variety of customer service jobs, Cassie’s broad variety of experience has taught her how to look at problems from different perspectives.Prior to joining the firm, Cassie worked as a law clerk with the office of Watkinson Laird Rubenstein, where her research focused on business planning, compliance, and liability issues. During law school Cassie interned with the Oregon Court of Appeals under Honorable Judge James C. Egan. Her internship involved attending court hearings and researching appellate standards of review, statutory interpretation, and various civil law mattters. Prior to law school Cassie also worked as a legal assistant for almost three years, where she interviewed clients, attended court hearings, drafted pleadings, reviewed discovery, and assisted attorneys in preparing for trial.In her free time Cassie enjoys walking her dogs, skiing, hiking, and exploring local concerts. Her volunteer experience includes mentoring youth.
