I would recommend Cary as an attorney in a heartbeat. Cary won’t promise clients the moon or the stars. But he is diligent and is a strong client advocate. Cary is an experienced attorney and is well respected by State and U.S. prosecutors, as well as state and federal judges. He is not afraid to challenge then if there is grounds to do so. Cary is not a magician. If you have committed a crime (fraud, theft, drug dealing, sexual assault, domestic violence, OUI, DUI, homicide, etc) and there is evidence against you that substantiates the charges that you have been indicted with, he will be able to mitigate the case and get the best options for you as a client. But he cannot make prosecutors dismiss a case under such circumstances. That is not what criminal defense is. If the State or the U.S. prosecutors don’t have the evidence against a client or the indictment against the client was not the appropriate charge, he will fight all the step of the way for your rights to be heard and honored and that the law is followed.
We were very happy to have Mr. Virtue as our Lawyer. He made us feel very comfortable and was excellent at explaining exactly what our options were, he helped us so much!We highly recommend him to any one needing a good lawyer.
He was hired to defend my father and told us he had experience in this type of case. he told us all the things that he could do and assured us that he had people working for him that he could use towards helping my father. This attorney did absolutely nothing! He took the money and continuously extended the case until they were out of time to do anything but force my father to plead no contest. He did no research of his own, and explained that he needs more time to do work. He had personal issues with his daughter having cancer and we heard more about that than my father's case. By the end of the case we were out of time and he had supposedly used up his allowance. This guy is a joke! If you want to win your case and you are innocent do not and I repeat do not choose this attorney to represent you! $30,000 down the drain and all he did was ask family members for letters. My father was screwed from the get-go and would have been better off with a public defender.
