Heck it's been nearly 2 months since I've fired the incompetent lump and he still hasn't closed out the paperwork, refuses to reimburse a dime and threatened me with court as his one and only response that he has ever emailed. No ethics, no accountability, no intentions of legal defense or even knowledge. It's aborant that he even has a license. It's heartbreaking that he can do this to families already suffering the consequences of a broken system. Shame shame on you Carroll Peiffer!

Worst experience of my life! Once you give him $ Don't expect a call back or email in a reasonable time. No matter how many messages you leave on the voicemail or with secretary. Sets appointments with you but when you show up the door is locked and noone is there and then won't answer your calls. Says he really wants to work with you and once you are fed up of over 3 months of not being able to speak to him you go to get your money and he makes up reasons why he can't do a check or all the work he did for you to give you barely any back. This guy is a scam and I have been told by many others after my experience he is KNOWN FOR THIS. Horrible!

All- please find a better lawyer than this lawyer. In our one case we experienced horrible customer service, no urgency or care about our case where it involved a mother with two kids and an abusive husband they were trying to get a restraining order. He failed to do this one request and charged us 3k for nothing. Unbelievable. Don't go to him, all he cares about is your moneygive NO stars I would

Carroll has represented me twice in the Yuba Family Court since 2018 as a father seeking custody rights in a very difficult situation that was being biased against me unfairly as is so often the hardship a lot of Dad’s run it to. He represented me with truth and trustworthiness; I felt he very much had my back at all times. I was granted the rights I sought in both cases thanks to him. He’s a very laid back guy but do not let that fool you into thinking he is unprofessional or unwise to Family Law. He’s sharp and knows what he’s doing.

Hired Carroll Peiffer to clean up a big mess that another Marysville attorney left. Carroll was highly recommended by a friend and with this high recommendation I finally hired Carroll Peiffer. Carroll was straightforward, calm and approachable. He returned calls as needed and had extensive knowledge of the law, the court system, its internal dynamics and functionality. If your looking for a lawyer with shiny shoes and a fat tie that could care less about your case then he is not for you. But if you want a lawyer with sound character, extensive knowledge, integrity and a passion towards his fiduciary duty look no further, this is the one you want to hire. He will uphold your rights when other lawyers will throw in the towel. His rates are the same as other attorneys but with Carroll you'll get someone that doesn't run from a fight. This review is coming from an individual who's been teaching for 16 years. The negative reviews I read here about Carroll don't add up. They should have hired the other Marysville attorney that I first hired. Thanks

By far the absolute worst family law attorney out there!!! Carroll has dementia as far as legal knowledge or client devotion, even basic math is too difficult for him. He charges mountains of money to do absolutely nothing, takes months to get to mundane task such as pick up his own ringing phone. Always with the excuse that he is with "another client".
