Carrie Lofts works primarily in Witherspoon Kelley's Real Estate, Business & Corporate, Banking & Finance, and Intellectual Property practice groups.Prior to joining the legal profession, Carrie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Justice from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. She then spent several years working in social services in Alaska, including two years as a guardian ad litem advocating for youth involved in the foster care system.During law school, Carrie was president of the Health Law Society, a board editor for the Gonzaga Journal of International Law, and participated in an international mediation competition in Florence, Italy. Carrie also served on the board for the Gonzaga Intellectual Property Law Association and competed in the Saul Lefkowitz Trademark Moot Court Competition, where her team advanced to nationals in Washington D.C.Carrie has worked as a legal intern in Gonzaga's Environmental Law & Land Use clinic as well as Gonzaga's Federal Tax Law Clinic. She also spent time at Rover.com's in-house counsel department prior to joining Witherspoon Kelley in 2019 as a summer associate.
