About
Few things distinguish young attorneys like the “Rising Star” Super Lawyer award. A Super Lawyer Rising Star fulfills all the rigorous standards of a Super Lawyer, but they must also be either younger than 40 years old or have been practicing for less than 10 years. For perspective, less than 2.5% of the lawyers in a state meet this criteria. Attorney Carrie Chaille Eckstein has achieved this feat several years in a row: 2011 to 2020.Ms. Eckstein has also been recognized for her volunteer work as a lawyer, winning the Pro Bono Legal Service Award. She believes it is part of her duty as an attorney to provide access to legal services to those who cannot afford it, a belief shared and lived out by many of the attorneys at CCB. Her passion for helping others first expressed itself during law school, when she interned for an international adoption agency. She also gained valuable experience as an intern for a Circuit Court Judge and the Arizona State Senate. When clients work with Attorney Eckstein, they can trust in her strength as an advocate and as a family law attorney. She aggressively and passionately represents her clients against situations that would threaten their well-being as individuals and as a family unit. Attorney Eckstein handles many high net worth clients in litigation and in marital agreements. She has reviewed many partnership agreements, closely held family businesses, and complex trusts. Regardless of your situation, rest assured that Attorney Carrie Eckstein can handle your case with high-level skill and deep compassion. In addition, her current practice at our firm includes working as a mediator between cooperative clients, resolving child custody disputes, and handling cases with large assets. Ms. Eckstein’s experience as a Guardian Ad Litem and Child & Family Investigator for the Colorado courts has given her extensive experience into court processes as well as into the needs of children and their families. She is particularly driven to create safe, effective solutions for families in dangerous situations. Her work as a Parenting Coordinator/Decision-Maker has given her sharp insight into family situations, allowing her to bring clarity into emotionally confusing circumstances while protecting families. Her values center on understanding her client’s needs and meeting those needs through her work and legal experience. Between her excellent practice, her experience, and her passion for helping families in times of need, Attorney Eckstein is a wonderful example of what CCB is about.

Carrie Eckstein represented me when I was trying to prevent my child's relocation to another state. I consulted with about 5 other lawyers in town but she seemed to have the expertise when it comes to relocation specifically. During a very stressful and emotional time, Carrie was a voice of reason and she helped formulate a compromise that was truly in the best interest of my child. She was honest with her advice and creative when it came time to making a new parenting plan. I felt like she had my child's best interest in mind. I would definitely recommend her if you are trying to prevent your child from moving out of state.
Carrie got up to speed very quickly on my case, gave easy to understand next steps and was successful in keeping me out of court. She saved me time and money with her multi-tasking abilities and knowledge of family law. She is very down to earth and was very savvy in her approach with the other attorney and mediator.
Carrie was extremely well informed on the legal topics of my case. She kept me on track with items that were my responsibility and clearly explained the timing of those needs.
I've been working with Carrie for several months regarding child custody issues; Carrie has been professional and straight forward with me from the beginning of this process. Her responsiveness to routine and urgent issues has been great and has managed to address any and all concerns I have had. Carrie displays great confidence and a strong personality within the courtroom which eased my tension throughout the hearing process. I would recommend Carrie to others who are seeking a straight forward, strong, and knowledgeable attorney who won’t give a false sense of security if she doesn’t feel it’s warranted. She’s been an extreme help to me and my family.
I hired Carrie to help through a very challenging divorce/custody case that required a lot of attention and detail. Carrie was able to help me through a lot of difficult situations. She was very professional and knowledgeable no matter how challenging the case got. I would recommend her to anyone no matter how big or small their divorce/separation or custody hearing.
I used Carrie Eckstein for my divorce last year. I was very impressed with her professionalism and quick response to my emails and phone calls. She was able to secure a great settlement of maintenance and child support for my family. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is need of a very strong, confident attorney. She fought for me and my kids to get what we deserved through the most difficult time of our lives.
I had a pretty scary experience with Mrs. Eckstein that almost cost me paternal rights to my son. I went with her firm because of the name and how well marketed they are in Denver and with Mrs Eckstein specifically because she had a reputation for settling cases amicably. We both probably should have realized early on that my case was going to be more involved than most. The case was a bit unique since it involved paternity across multiple states (my son was born in Colo but then moved out of state without my knowledge). I received some questionable advice through out the legal process from Mrs. Eckstein. Specifically I was told to sign a stipulation to relinquish jurisdiction in Colo and was convinced by her that this was the only option to see my son. FYI, after hiring a new attorney we were able to keep jurisdiction in Colorado and I now see my son here! In addition Mrs. Eckstein also told me some very questionable borderline sexist remarks including "infants can only bond with females" and "start a savings account" after I asked her how I could protect my self against back child support if we were not able to locate my son and his mother after they disappeared (FYI, we had hired multiple PI's and made 12 service attempts at this point). The partners at her firm had little concern over the advice I was given or how to improve the level of service to clients which I believe was a large part of the problem with the service Mrs Eckstein provided. There are a lot of lawyers and firms out there and there is a difference!! Find someone that will fight for your rights.
Carrie was my attorney in my family law case. Her interventions related to her specialty, the work of a CFI, were very helpful. However, after several weeks of difficulty in reaching the firm, the firm suddenly withdrew from my case. This occurred three weeks before the hearing, and it threw the proceeding into chaos and required multiple additional steps that were emotionally very painful.
