Carrie Anne helped me through a very difficult 3 year process. My husband did not want to get divorced and fought every step of the process. I am finally divorced, have fully custody of my children and got a very good decision from the court. I could not have made it through this process without the excellent legal guidance and counsel of Carrie Anne. I am grateful that she was my attorney through this process.

Carrie Anne Cavallo really cares and will guide you to the best possible outcome of your situation. She truly wants to represent you and YOUR issues and not just strong arm you into an easy end like many other attorneys. Carrie Anne Cavallo replies to my many inquiries expeditiously and is clearly very knowledgeable. She has shared with me various possible outcomes of situations to help guide me to making a well informed decision on how to proceed. If you want an excellent attorney who will have your back all the way through, Carrie Anne Cavallo is the one hands down.

Carrie Anne was my divorce attorney and I would not recommend her to anyone. Her hourly rate is extremely high, so it was hard to believe how she could be so unresponsive. She never answered or returned phone calls or emails. When she did reply to emails, the response was very brief, a few words or one sentence. She really just did not care. about me as a client. The office staff was constantly changing, so every time I called it was like speaking to them for the first time and I had to explain who I was. My whole experience with Carrie Anne Cavallo and her office was very frustrating and unprofessional.

She seemed friendly enough, but her and her associates are ridiculously incompetent. Maybe I'm the exception, but their mistakes in my case are so egregious that I would never even consider hiring them for anything else. They were supposed to handle a simple garnishment case. I could have done it with a few documents and a court appearance. The ONLY reason I hired a lawyer was because I couldn't figure out how to transfer my out-of-state divorce case to Brooklyn. I tried for months without success, and broke down and hired a lawyer. I figured I would let them do the whole thing. I figured how hard could that be? Drop-out teen moms file for garnishment every single day. $4600 later, I still don't have a garnishment order for child support because guess what? They left out the line about child support amount and wish to garnish on the stipulation of settlement. That's the single most important sentence they should have included. I pointed that out to them both at the court date and afterwards, but her associate, Karla George, kept insisting that the right amount was reflected somewhere else. She was dead wrong. How in the world can even a high school graduate make these mistakes, much less law school graduates? And did they rectify the situation? NO! When I complained, like a child, Carrie Anne told me that they don't work with people who think they're incompetent and told me to go find alternate counsel. My lawyer friend read the emails between myself and them and thinks that they are just as ridiculous as I do. He doesn't understand how they spent $4600 even if they did do everything right. The way they tried to blame the courts and me for their mistakes shows they have zero conscience.
