Although, she was paid in full- She claimed she was missing property info(even though she reassured me more than once she had all the info she needed) OK?? SO why not reach out to your client in 5 mos? Had I not checked I would have went on thinking this was done, and it never would have been taken care of.

Do not use Caroline as your lawyer. She does not communicate at all and treats clients horribly. She appears to not know anything about divorce proceedings and missed a critical deadline, costing me time and money.

Working with Caroline during a difficult time in my life (divorce) was the worst mistake I made. She did not communicate clearly, was nonresponsive, and was belittling towards me. I have a professional job myself and was surprised at how unprofessional her behavior was. I do not recommend this attorney. Also, she had not even heard of the Michigan Divorce book when I mentioned it to her. I had to secure a different attorney two weeks before the court date. Over a month has gone by since she has done any work for me and I am still waiting for the remainder of the retainer fee to be returned.
