I had a few consulations with the attorney and decided I might want to have him take my case. I was told I needed a few more documents, he told me when we waited on those documents, I could pay him first. And I did. After give him the money, and time have passed. I thought to over and it was taking awhile for my documents and so I decided to wait on the case. I told him and asked for a refund, but he refused to give my money in full. He stated that he had spent so much time on it. I did not understand at all what he meant when we had a few consultations before he was paid, he never mentioned anything about a fee. We only met once after I paid him and the rest was wait time. I did not talk to the attorney much at all. I do not understand how he spent so much time on it. I asked him exactly how he charged me, he refused to give me an answer and claimed I have been harassing him when I only asked for my refund in full and how he calculated all the fees. He is the worst attorney I have ever had to deal with. I have never met an attorney who refused to give back a client’s money in full because the client changed her mind. We did not sign any contracts or anything stating any break down of fees and refunds not being issued in full. Do not give him your money if you know what’s best for you.
